About
llm-viz is an open-source project offering a 3D interactive model of a GPT-style LLM network running inference. This tool is designed to help users visualize the internal workings of models similar to OpenAI's GPT-2, GPT-3, and potentially GPT-4. It currently features a tiny network that sorts letters A, B, and C, based on Andrej Karpathy's minGPT implementation. While it supports visualizing arbitrary-sized networks, including smaller GPT-2 sizes, the larger weights are not downloaded due to their significant size. The project also includes a work-in-progress CPU simulation with a 2D digital schematic editor, aiming to showcase RISC-V based CPU construction and higher-level CPU concepts like pipelining and caching.
